What is the weather like in Monaco in June?
The average daily temperature in Monaco in June is 21°C, with highs of 23°C, a nightly low of 19°C, and minimal rainfall.
Is there a dress code?
The Monaco Grand Prix is generally a very sophisticated event. We want all our guests to feel comfortable with what they wear, so the following suggestions may be considered for specific locations:
Hotel de Paris & Hotel Hermitage:
Smart attire. Sportswear, torn jeans, and beachwear are not accepted. Smart trainers are accepted.
Caffe Milano, Ermanno Palace, Fairmont Suites, Heracles, Shangri-La, Rascasse, Yachts:
Smart/Casual—Tailored shorts, jeans or chinos, and smart trainers are accepted. Team polos are also accepted. Beachwear is not accepted.
Grid Café and all grandstands:
Casual—shorts & trainers accepted.
Please consider forecasted weather conditions and be prepared with appropriate clothing and sun protection. This is particularly true for the grandstands, the Fairmont rooftop, and yachts, where shelter is limited.
What about footwear?
Monaco is known for its hills, and with the track closing regular routes, a good amount of walking may be required. At race viewing locations, you may need to stand for an extended period, so please consider this when selecting your footwear.
Yacht footwear: You may wear shoes on board our yacht, as we will have laid a protective carpet. Ladies are advised that if their heels are particularly narrow, they may have to remove them so as not to damage the decks.
Will I need earplugs?
Foam earplugs will be supplied at all our venues for your use. If you are attending the race with young children, we recommend you bring ear defenders for them.
Is there food available at the Grandstands?
Yes, there are food and drink vendors near the grandstands, so you can buy sandwiches, hot dogs, and drinks. Glass bottles and cans are not allowed inside the grandstand areas.
Photography & drones
Spectator photography is permitted for personal use, provided cameras are handheld and do not obstruct views or breach safety rules. Prohibited items include camera tripods, professional video equipment, and bulky camera bags.
Drones are strictly prohibited.
Safety & Security
Safety will be a priority for the Monaco authorities during the Grand Prix period; therefore, security checks will be in operation. We recommend that you always carry identification and allow extra time for any delays it may cause. Please keep your pass and lanyard visible around your neck so that you are easily identifiable when watching the race.
